Through some calculation data, analyses the relationship between well group size and ground-source heat pump system’s stable operation in a long-term when the winter and summer load are unbalanced. Draws the following conclusions: the ground-source heat pump system’s long-term and stable operation is not only based on the accumulative heat release and heat absorption, but also closely depended on the well group size and peak heat release per depth. For the long term stable operation of ground-source heat pump system, when the project scale is very small, increases the well numbers. When the project scale is large, must have reliable technical measures to ensure the load balance reached a higher level.
